Southeast Asian Mathematical Olympiad (SEAMO) is geared to conduct their prestigious Olympiad in the India for the first time. SEAMO is a unique platform dedicated to provide resources for students of various levels to hone their problem-solving skills and to prepare for more challenging mathematical competitions. The test date for SEAMO in India is 6th August, 2017.



Students of Classes V to XII are eligible for the Olympiad. The duration of the exam is 2 hours and entails Multiple Choice Questions in Mathematics. With a presence in twelve Asian countries such as Thailand, Myanmar, Laos, Cambodia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Jakarta, Brunei, Timor-Leste and Philippines, SEAMO will now provide Indian students an opportunity to identify and discover their mathematical talents through creative challenges.

For participating students, The question paper is same internationally, and students are given rankings Nationally and Internationally. Therefore, this Olympiad will set a clear benchmark for Indian students about their performance as compared to international students.

More importantly, top 0.025% of participating students will win a Gold Plated Medal & a Certificate of Participation, the next 1% will get a Silver Plated Medal & a Certificate of Participation and the next 2% will get a Bronze Plated Medal & a Certificate of Participation. All remaining participating students will be presented with a Certificate of Participation.

The Registration Fee for Class V to IX students is Rs. 1150 (including tax) and for Class X, XI & XII students is Rs. 1300 (Including tax).
