    1. No this is a misconception mostly spread through users who never used the laptops, Dedicated Graphic cards are always better than Integrated cards.
Optimus is mostly the ability to save power when you are not using the GPU.

    2. When buying AMD GPU laptops always opt for x6xx or greater model GPU. Usually a GPU with 86xx or more is preferred. In Nvidia, go for cards with kepler architecture, 640M and above or 730M and above.

You have a very informative list here. Good job!
I do some 3d-modelling and I also play some games like Portal 2, Prince of Persia, Need For Speed, etc. I have a budget of 35-42K INR. I am currently looking at the HP Pavillion 15-e001AX. Is it a good laptop for its price? Will it comfortably run most of the games mentioned here? And lastly (hope I'm not pestering you), how future-proof is it?

    Thanking you for your help,

    2. what you mean by kinda??? will u suggest to go for pc in the same budget for better gaming experience?

      Delete
    3. I would Suggest Desktop anyday over Laptop for Gaming, Laptops are only for Portability and will offer only some level of Gaming, not ultra and they are susceptible to heating too.
Desktop is meant for days of Gaming at a time. If you are only looking for gaming, and would not have such use of Laptop, i would suggest you to go with a barebones Notebook and a gaming Desktop.

      Delete
    4. for a barebones notebook will that 15k asus notebook suffice? hehe btw thnks fr advice..

    5. Yeah just grab any that will suffice for normal browsing, and usual Office software's. ASUS has many good quality Notebook in low range.
And thanks, I am here for advice only
