  6. Hey anurag.. I m a big fan of your reviews
I have a 40k budget and looking for gaming laptop with i5 process and win 7 option with decent graphics card.
    I have shortlisted to Lenovo g510 59382843 specs are i5 4200m 4gb ram 2 gb amd 8570m graphics
I have few concerns that I have read on blogs
    1) Lenovo uses weak wifi card
    2) Lenovo display are pixelated and are not good as HP and others even with same HD resolution. Also how about brightness, contrast and appearance of the screen
    3) how good is amd 8570 graphics card? Can I play cod ghosts and assassin creed 4 even with low or medium settings but with smooth play.
    4) how is Lenovo after sale services
    5) this laptop has fast Ethernet not gigabyte Ethernet does it make any difference
    6) how about speaker quality
Also could u suggest any other laptop with 40-42k budget and gaming capability but with i5 process and win 7 driver available
Plz unsolve my doubts thanks in advance

    1. Hi Anonymous, I would appreciate greatly if you could use your name next time.
      For you Doubts :-
      1. Lenovo uses same wifi card as others, and its purely dependent on the Power saving settings of your Laptop.
      2. Lenovo displays are not Pixelated and will look the same as others, but some of them have Low Brightness and Low Sunlight legibility.
      3. AMD 8570 is a good card and you can game at Med and get playable Frames.
      4. Lenovo after sales service depends on your locality but its Good.
      5. I would also suggest you to Look at Lenovo G505s, it has been linked in the above Post and it has AMD A10, and its comparable to i5. and Ethernet brand doesn't make any difference at all.

    2. Thanks anurag for resolving many of my issues. Your insight does help a lot. But can u tell me if this particular model g510 59382843 has a good display in terms of clarity brightness color contrast
and screen visibility in sunlight. Also itsspeaker quality And battery backup. Vendors say that it gives 6hrs backup as it has 6 cell battery. But I highly doubt that. Please review this laptop in detail like u did for z500 model. Speciall mention your gaming experience with this model

    4. It surely won't run 6 Hours, No laptop does that even with 9 cell, the Max it can run is 3-4 Hours.
The Display is LED Glare, which is Good for readability and contrast.
But the model g510 59382843 has no Graphic card, so i would suggest you to get G510 (59-398452), which has 2 GB ATI 8570 Graphic on which you can play games at Medium high.
I would also advise you to look at HP Pavilion 15-n004TX which has ATI 8670 Graphics and slightly better than G510's Graphic card. but 1 GB VRAM which may limit gaming experience. so i would advise you to get Lenovo G510 59-398452.

    5. Hey man thanks agaaaa...in.
but the model you specified(59....452) is the one with win8 and the model (59....843) have the same specs bit without os and inbuilt does. It certainly does have 2gb graphics from amd (8570). I most certainly would buy it within 2 days but would really be glad if you can review this product in detail as u did for z500 model. I would really appreciate that. Also today I came to know that this laptop does not come with seperate mic jack. It has a outside mic on its palm rest area. Now what sort of new crap is this. I certainly do need a Jack for my head phone's microphone cord as I am a frequent Skype user. Please reply

    6. It has Mic and Headphone of the same slot, so you will need to buy Headphones with single pin for both mic and headphone
